Strokes

The basic units of lace-making are the bobbin pairs, which are moved to make the lace. Moving them over each other in a certain order creates what are called called strokes.
There are three strokes:
- Full stitch (Finnish abbreviation KL)
- Linen stitch(LL)
- Half stitch (PL)
