History

In 1800, the house belonged to the patron Erik Grönholm.  He also owned a small field and a share of the reef and barn.

Modification drafts

There is an alteration drawing of the house from 1950. The owner of the building is Viivi Kuusava. A toilet was added to the semi-detached building and the fireplaces were replaced. A room and kitchen apartment were added to the building, as well as a separate room for the elderly with cooking facilities. The external cladding of the building was indicated on the drawing as a sheet metal lining. The windows were six-paned, except for one window on the side of the courtyard, which was wider than the other. 1970 was another year of change. The owner of the building has remained the same. A bathroom was added to the apartment, and a kitchen was fitted with a sink and an electric stove. Both the wood stove in the kitchen and the ovens in the rooms were removed. One of the living rooms was divided in two and the hallway and porch were combined to create a new small room. The old fixed cupboards were dismantled and the rooms were fitted with rows of standard cupboards. The openness of the apartment was increased by removing the door between the hallway and the living room and enlarging the opening between the rooms. The wide window opening on the courtyard side was widened further, but kept divided into small squares.
