History

The house was owned in 1800 by the former guard Petter Ekvall.

Modification drafts

In 1890 there is only a residential building on the plot. The nearly square building has three rooms, a kitchen with a baking oven and a porch. John Fredr. Lindegren’s drawing shows the building with a stone foundation and a Neo-Renaissance lining and gate. In 1894, an outbuilding was built on the property. The wooden building includes a barn, latrine and two log cabins.

In 1928, the building was converted into a shop, a front door with display windows on either side. The baking oven in the kitchen was replaced with a conventional stove. The roof of the residential building is made steeper. At the same time, the old outbuilding will be demolished and a brick, pitched-roofed outbuilding will be built at the back of the courtyard to house a store room, wood room and toilets. In 1929, a heated bedroom will be built in the attic of the residential building. The plan is approved, even though it is against the regulations. In 1933, the warehouse is converted into a bakehouse and sauna. In 1983, the baking room is extended at the expense of the other rooms. In 1952, the baking room is converted into a sauna.
