Modification drafts

The modification drawing by Arvi Forsman dates from 1901. There were three buildings on the plot, a residential building on the northern boundary and two outbuildings, one on the western and one on the eastern boundary, both on the river side. Before the conversion, the residential building had a semi-detached part comprising a room, a lobby, a hall and a porch, with a wing on the western boundary of the plot containing a room and a porch. There was also a porch in front of the semi-detached part. Now the building was to be extended on the courtyard side to the full extent of the building. At the same time, the building was to be raised and the roof ridge was to be moved to the middle of the wide building. The whole building was to be given a new Renaissance look. The exterior buildings were also to be renewed. However, the plan was never realised.

In 1934, fundamental changes were made. The building was slightly shortened and the height of the rooms was increased, but the roof angle was lowered, the position of the windows was slightly changed, the position of the fireplaces was changed, etc. Three apartments were added and the building took on its current appearance, which includes hexagonal windows and panelling. According to the plan, the building was to have a tiled roof. A new outbuilding was added to the east side of the lot, with wood sheds and a privy. The old outbuildings were demolished.

In 1978, a major renovation of the residential building was carried out. Toilets, washrooms and modern kitchens were installed. The building was divided into two 46 m2 apartments, each with two rooms and a kitchen.
