Taka-Kalli
History
In 1800, the house was owned by the patron Mich Tilander. He also had a small field, a barn and a boathouse.
Modification drafts
In 1930, Kaino Kari drew an alteration drawing for the fireplaces and entrances. There had been a kitchen and two rooms in the semi-detached building, but now one of the rooms was to be converted into a kitchen and the fireplace in the other kitchen was to be replaced. The new fireplaces were to be located in the centre of the building on the outside wall. In the previous decades, it had been decided to get rid of the fireplaces on the outside walls, but in this building, too, the old fireplace in one of the chambers was still against the outside wall.
In 1978, the buildings were renovated. In the residential building on the northern boundary of the site, the kitchen was renovated and shower and toilet facilities were built to extend the porch. A room was added to the attic and the roof of the building was raised as a result. A craft room and baking room, a sauna and a garage were added to the utility building. The second residential building was also to be renovated, but this was not done at this stage.
