History

In 1756 the plot was called Heikkala and was owned by Andres Sorander. In 1800 the plot was called Perttula and was owned by the widow of the former bailiff, Liisa Enblom. She had a barrel field and half a reef, but she was poor.

Modification drafts

The modification drawing by Arvi Forsman dates from 1901. It concerns a residential building along the river. The building has three apartments: one with two rooms and a kitchen, another with three small rooms and a hallway but no kitchen, and a third with a loft and a room. A new porch has now been built in front of the loft. There was already one in front of the entrance to the other two apartments. The building was raised with an attic section and given a façade with a sparingly neo-renaissance feel. The building is vertically planked and the wall is articulated by smooth pilasters and a horizontal moulding at the bottom of the wall and another separating the attic floor. The four-pane windows have simple panelling, but the accent in the centre gives a hint of the lily motif of the more elaborate linings. The windows in the attic are double-paned.

In 1908, a new outhouse was added to the outbuilding, along with a new toilet block and one more boardroom. The building also contained a stable and a barn. A modification drawing by Arvi Leikari dates from 1913. In the riverside building, the intention was to make a kitchen in the apartment, which previously had only three small rooms. The kitchen was separated from the middle room, part of which was left as a hallway. At the same time, the outbuilding, at the river end, was extended with a board shed.

In 1958, central heating was installed in the riverside building. The boiler room was placed under the building in the basement. The fireplaces disappear from the rooms, except for the wood stoves in the two kitchens of the building. In addition to the kitchen and hallway, two rooms were added to one flat and three rooms in a row to the other. All three porches in the building were demolished.

In 1928, a large stone garage and workshop building was built on the Perttla and Vähä-Tasala plots on a diagonal. A large outbuilding on both plots was demolished underneath. The new outbuilding was built at right angles to the residential building. It had a hipped roof and was fitted with a latrine and wood shelters.

In 1978, the living quarters were renovated. A sauna was built inside.
