Safety
Our aim is to make Lace Week safe for all participants.
Principles for a safer place
The principles for a safer space are applied in all premises and activities in the City of Rauma. This also applies to Rauma Lace Week. Everyone has the right to physical and mental integrity, and everyone should be able to enjoy an event in a safe environment without fear of discrimination, harassment, bullying or other inappropriate treatment. We strive to create an environment where everyone can feel welcome and safe. We recognise and address harassment, discrimination and inappropriate treatment.
Traffic
The Lace Week event area has open access routes and plenty of space. Much of Old Rauma is a pedestrianized area, and many streets are closed off for the market and concert areas. Read more about the traffic arrangements for the Lace Week from the link below.
First aid
The staff members in the market and concert area of the Lace Week will have first aid kits with them to treat minor injuries. On Black Lace Night, you will also find a permanent first aid tent in Anundila Square.
Rauma’s emergency room serves the suddenly and seriously ill. In case of emergency, always contact the emergency number 112.
