During Lace Week, is an opportunity to see Rauma bobbin lace being made daily at Marela and Kirsti. The entrance fee is 10€ for adults, which includes access to Marela, Kirsti, and the Rauma Art Museum. Reduced tickets are 7€, and free entry for under 18.

During Lace Week, over 30 residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The yards are open according to the residents’ schedules, usually from 10.00 to 18.00.

The event features 140 entrepreneurs from over 30 countries and various regions of Finland, showcasing their specialty products. There will be amazing international food stalls, handicrafts, and textile. There will also be a funfair for children in the area.

12.30 Stop motion! Animation workshop for all ages
The stop motion animation workshop is open to all ages, with children preferably accompanied by an adult. The workshop utilizes smartphones, and after learning the technique, participants can easily continue making animations at home. The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.
The workshop is facilitated by: Author and visual artist Suvi Nurmi (FIN) and multidisciplinary artist and director Roscha A. Säidow (GER).
Pre-registration is not necessary, but it can secure a spot in the workshop. By registering in advance, participants will receive information about an app that should be downloaded on their device before the workshop starts. The workshop will be conducted in both Finnish and English.
No age limit, young children should be accompanied by an adult. The workshop is limited to 15 participants and is free of charge.

14.00 Guided bus tour to the Sammallahdenmäki UNESCO World Heritage Site
Sammallahdenmäki was the first archaeological site in Finland to be selected for UNESCO’s World Heritage List. It is located in Lappi Village, about 20 km from the center of Rauma. Sammallahdenmäki is situated in the middle of the forest, so exploration is always on foot. The guide leads the group along forest paths to this ancient site preserved from the Bronze Age. Within an area of less than a kilometer, there are 36 different shaped and sized burial cairns. Stories enliven the guidance, and the silence of the forest and nature enchant. Language: Finnish/English.
The excursion price includes guided tour and bus transportation from Rauma center to Sammallahdenmäki and back.
Duration: Return to Rauma around 16.15, guidance approximately 1 hour.
Price: 10 €/person, under 15 years free. The price of the excursion includes bus transportation from Rauma bus station to Sammallahdenmäki and back. Guidance takes place at Sammallahdenmäki.
Note: Dress according to the weather, wear comfortable walking shoes, not suitable for those with mobility limitations.

Welcome to a gentle family picnic! During the picnic, there will be activities such as raffles and a nature immersion experience for babies. The event features non-stop photography sessions by Jonnakphotograph and Fascia method at 15.00, led by Kati Huttunen. Juice and some sweet treats will be provided. The event is free, but there’s a small participation fee for photography sessions and the Fascia method.
