Come and try making jewelry from UV resin! In this workshop, you’ll design and create earrings, a pendant, or a keychain for yourself or as a gift using UV resin. The workshop operates continuously without prior registration. Making a piece of jewelry takes about 15 minutes. The material fee is 10 € for earrings, 8 € for a pendant or keychain. Payment can be made in cash or via MobilePay.

During Lace Week, is an opportunity to see Rauma bobbin lace being made daily at Marela and Kirsti. The entrance fee is 10€ for adults, which includes access to Marela, Kirsti, and the Rauma Art Museum. Reduced tickets are 7€, and free entry for under 18.

10.00–18.00 Lace Week open yards and yard sales
During Lace Week, over 30 residents of Old Rauma will open their yards to visitors. The residents will hold yard sales or allow visitors to explore their yards as they are. The yards are open according to the residents’ schedules, usually from 10.00 to 18.00.

Maid or Farmhand Day is an interactive tour for young children, where they can learn about old-fashioned household chores and games at the sailor’s home, Kirsti. Free admission. The tour lasts about 40 minutes and can accommodate 10 children. No advance registration required.

12.00–18.00 Color Obstacle Rush
Color Obstacle Rush is the world’s largest running event tour originating from Finland, combining color powder, various obstacles, and the atmosphere of a music festival. The day culminates in a color festival that won’t leave any participant untouched!
The event has no age limit, but participation is not recommended for children under 12. Participants under 15 can join the event only when accompanied by an adult guardian registered in the same starting group. Those aged 15 and above can participate without a guardian.

14.00 Rauma Flikk’s birthday party
Rauma’s beloved public sculpture, Kerttu Horila’s Rauma Flikk, will celebrate her 10th anniversary during Lace Week. Rauma Flikk will be honored with flowers at a birthday party organized by the Rauma Art Association and Rauma Art Museum. The event, which is open to everyone, will take place on the opening day of Lace Week at Raatihuone Square. Coffee will be served for a couple of hundred guests. The keynote speech will be given by art historian Henna Paunu, who has long collaborated with Horila.
The sculpture will have a special guest at its birthday celebration: Maire, created by Horila in 2010 for the city of Pori and the inspiration for Rauma Flikk, will come to Rauma. The two sculptures will meet for the first time.

At the Mukulafest Family Event, there will be music, giant soap bubbles, circus acts, a park game course, flower crown workshops, cotton candy, and marshmallow roasting for the whole family to enjoy! Free admission.

16.00 Odes to Finnish trees outdoor concert
Trees are an inseparable part of Finnish everyday life and celebration, lifestyle, and culture. That’s why we want to sing odes to trees!
The artists performing in the concert are singers Essi and Sami Luttinen, along with Laura Nykänen, pianist Markus Ollila, and reciter Rauno Luttinen. The concert will be hosted by Sauli Luttinen.
