15.00 Pieni Pelkojen Kirja theatershow for children
In the children’s theater performance based on Mauri Kunnas’ book of the same name, there’s no unnecessary scaring but a safe exploration of various fears and excitement, accompanied by gentle humor. With Mäkinen’s grandpa as a guide, the entire audience can participate in making storm sounds, even the wildest ones, and the performance also explores how simply breathing can affect one’s own anxiety.
The performance Pieni Pelkojen Kirja is produced by Teatteri Konna. It offers plenty of entertainment for the little ones and, of course, the grown-ups too! Recommended for ages over 3, with a duration of about 30 minutes.

Melodic summer covers from the borderlands of folk and pop tell stories of moments one wants to share with a friend. About crushes, injustices, and cats.
18.00 Miss Lace Competition
Miss Lace of the Year 2024 will be chosen in the traditional competition during the Lace Week at Savilanpuisto. The Miss Lace has been chosen in Rauma every year since the competition was established in 1978. The competition has a long tradition, and in 2024, the 47th Miss Lace will be selected.

13.00 Arnie Alligator and the Jungle drum – Live music
Arnie Alligator & the Jungle drum is a band founded in 2003 that plays cheerful children’s music. The performance lasts about 45 minutes, followed by a meet & greet with Arnie.

Children can meet Arnie Alligator and his band and take pictures together. Duration 25 minutes.
15.00 Lace-making competition
In the traditional Fastest Bobbin Lace-maker competition, participants will traditionally lace for half an hour using six pair lace pattern (uddi). You can bring your own pillow or borrow one at the event venue. Borrowed pillows are available in limited quantities. Mynster can be obtained for your own pillow at the competition venue. Competitors are encouraged to arrive approximately half an hour before the start of the competition. Pre-registration is recommended, but participation without registration might be possible.
