In the heart of Christmas in Lace Town, the Christmas Market is located on the Market Square.

The Market Square will be filled with stalls and a magical atmosphere this Christmas! A delicious and lively market will delight visitors in the heart of the magnificent Old Rauma World Heritage Site. The stalls offer local and regional produce. The Christmas Market stage features a variety of performers and an organised programme.

Santa Claus, choir from Kari’s music class, musicians Laura and Kari, gymnastic groups Nedi and Cerei from Rauma Women’s Gymnastics, Pitsimissi, and a surprise performer.
December 1 Pony rides
Pony Rides on December 1, 2024, from 12:00 to 14:00
On December 1 and December 8, from 12:00 to 14:00, ponies from Baldur Equestrian Center will be available next to the Christmas Market.
December 7 Children’s program

Enjoyable activities for children, Moomin will visit market stage at 11AM, 12:30 PM and 2PM.

A free children’s carousel will be available at the Christmas Market from December 7 to December 9, 2024, open from 10AM to 7PM.
December 8 Carousel for children
Carousel for Children, December 7-9, 2024
A free children’s carousel will be available at the Christmas Market from December 7 to December 9, 2024. Open from 10AM to 19PM.
Pony Rides from 12:00 to 14:00
On December 8, from 12:00 to 14:00, ponies from Baldur Equestrian Center will be available next to the Christmas Market.
December 9 Carousel for children
Carousel for Children, December 7-9, 2024
A free children’s carousel will be available at the Christmas Market from December 7 to December 9, 2024. Carousel open from 12 to 7PM (Monday).
December 10 Onde Pelamo and troubadour Peltone
Onde Pelamo will perform at 4PM and 5PM, Peltone will perform at 6PM
December 11 Old Rauma orienteering
Old Rauma orienteering for the whole family. Rasti-Lukko will give out maps from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, finnishline will close at 7:30PM.
December 12 Music Thursday
Kalle Vanne will perform from 5PM to 6PM and Sampo Lyly will perform from 6PM to 7PM
December 13 The Night of the Elves
The Night of the Elves on December 13, 2024.
The Night of the Elves will be celebrated on December 13, 2024, with the Christmas Market and shops open until 9:00 p.m. On the Christmas Market stage, you can enjoy performances by the dance group Alyssa and the singing group Karin Kakrut. Look out for Pitsimissi around the Christmas Market, and Karin Kakrut will be singing in the streets as well.
December 14 Christmas Princess & Music
Christmas Princess and Magic on December 14, 2024 at 2PM. The beloved Christmas Princess will perform on the Christmas Market stage. Afterward, she will be available for photos and greetings.

Laura and Kari will perform at 12 PM and at 2PM.

A musical performance filled with ambiance and storytelling, lasting approximately 1.5 hours. The journey begins at the historical Old Town Hall at Kauppakatu 13.4 and includes four moving scenes around the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The route passes from the Town Hall to Kalatori, the Old Church ruins, and St. Cross Church, covering a distance of about 1.5 kilometers. Note! The musical is in Finnish.
