Duration of the play
The musical play takes you on a journey of about 1.5 hours, full of atmosphere and stories.
The journey starts at the historic Old Town Hall at Kauppakatu 13.
Route of the play
Experience four breathtaking scenes across the UNESCO World Heritage site. The route of the play runs from the Old Town Hall to Kalatori and from the ruins of the Old Church to the Church of the Holy Cross. The route is about 1.5 km long.
Cooperation of 300 people
Joulevangeeljum musical play is written by Arto Myllärinen and composed by Lasse Heikkilä. The play is directed by Arto Myllärinen and Ani Hassinen. The production team of nearly 300 people includes actors, singers, musicians, dancers and maintenance crews.

In 2024, you will be able to get into the atmosphere of the musical play via radio. Radio Ramona will make it possible to listen to and follow the play live during the performance on Saturday 21.12. at 16:00.
