Lighting
The lights in Old Rauma, which bring light and a festive atmosphere around them, are a much-anticipated sign of the start of the Christmas season. The lights will be on from 23.11.2024 to 6.1.2024. The lights in Savilanpuisto and Vähäraastuvankatu will remain on until the end of the Lumen-lighting event on 13.1.2025.
Lighting is implemented in a responsible and thoughtful way. They bring joy and a Christmas atmosphere to the darkness of winter. The city’s Christmas lights use LED technology, which consumes little energy. The timing of the lights and the installations has been designed to take into account the people living nearby and any possible light and/or sound disturbance.
