Hiking trails

Rauma’s hiking trails can be found on the route portal Outdooractive. The collection of routes has also been brought to this website. Outdooractive’s contents can be viewed both with a browser and via the mobile app. The route descriptions include, among other things, information about the length and difficulty of the routes and the height differences on the route.

If you want to download Outdooractive to your phone and browse the content on mobile, follow the instructions below.

1. Install the free Outdooractive app. The application can be found in the App Store and the Play store under the name Outdooractive.
Create a new user account or log in with an existing Google or Facebook account.
Allow the app to use your device’s location.

2. Find a Route
Open the menu by clicking and select “Routes”.
You can see the best search results for the routes near you on the map.
In the “List” button you can see previews of all the routes in the area.
Limit the search results from the shortcut buttons or from the “Restrict search” menu.

By typing in the search field, you can search by routes name or keyword.

You can find information on hiking trails in Rauma in both Finnish and English. In the phone application, the language version of the route is determined by the language in which you use the application.

If you wish, you can also save the gpx trace of the route on your own device and use the file for navigation by downloading the gpx file to the application of your choice.

Outdooractive app has also a offline maps feature.
