  • Rohela is located in the north of Rauma archipelago, in Reksaari island.
  • By rowing boat: a boat can be hired for a deposit from Service Point Pyyrman (Valtakatu 2 A). The boat is located in Omenapuumaa. The distance between Omenapuumaa and Rohela is approximately 100 m.
  • Watertaxi or own boat/canoing: By your own boat / canoeing: Rohela has a small pier with 2–3 boat places. The depth of the water approximately 60 cm.
  • The house: Beds for six persons. The beds have mattresses but no bedding. Some dishes: a few pots and plates. A wood-burning stove. Lighting with candles (remember to take your own candles).
  • Drinking water needs to be brought with you.
  • Sauna: Wood-burning sauna stove. The sea water or rainwater in barrels can be used as bathing water. Swimming possible from the pier, no beach.
  • Campfire place: There is firewood, but cutting the firewood is needed.
  • Outhouse
  • Rohela can be booked approximately from mid-April until the end of November depending on weather conditions. The accommodation period starts at 3 pm and ends at 12 noon. Please check availability on Timmi-calender. Not suitable for winter use. Max. 6 days/customer.

  • The renter cleans the cottage and carries the rubbish with them, so the next renters can have a nice time at the croft. Booking the cottage does not bring exclusive rights for the yard. The campfire place and the yard are a part of a public hiking route.

Nurmes Vesiluoma

  • Vesiluoma is located in Nurmes island, which is the largest island in Rauma archipelago.
  • By boat taxi service or by your own boat / canoeing: No pier, a shallow, rocky shore.  Notice, that the waters in front of Vesiluoma are very rocky, and going to Vesiluoma by your own boat is not recommended. For boaters, the Pihlus pier is recommended. The distance from Pihlus to Vesiluoma is approximately 3 km along a hiking trail.
  • The house: Rough wooden platform for approximately 10 persons. Mattresses available for 6 people, but no bedding. A wood-burning stove. No dishes. Lighting with candles (remember to take your own candles).
  • Drinking water needs to be brought.
  • Firewood: There is firewood, but cutting the firewood is needed. Axe is available.
  • Sauna: Wood-burning sauna stove and a boiler for heating well water. Bathing water needs to be brought from the sea. Poor swimming possibilities.
  • Outhouse (toilet).
  • The renter does the final cleaning and delivers his/her own rubbish, so that the next renter will be happy to come and spend their leisure time in the area.

Nurmeksen Pinokari

Spring in Pinokari
  • Pinokari is located in the island of, which is the largest island of Rauma’s archipelago.
  • By boat taxi services or by own boat. A possible dock for a boat is located at Päiväranta, which is about 1,5 kilometers from Pinokari. Canoeing is also possible.
  • Shed: Wooden beds for sleeping for maximum of five people, and table. No dishes, heating or electricity.
  • Drinking water needs to be brought with you.
  • Firewood place: No firewood maintenance.

  • The estate is used for sheep pasture. Visitors should take care of the tidiness of the area and remember to bring any trash made to the shore, so the next visitors can have a pleasant time in the area.

Nurmeksen Päiväranta

  • Päiväranta is an archipelago farm suitable for day-time use for small nature groups in Nurmes. Check availabiliti in Timmi-calendar
  • Päiväranta is located in Nurmes island, which is the largest island in Rauma archipelago.
  • Päiväranta can be reached by boat taxi or by own boat / canoe: dock + buoy, dock + anchor. Depth about 1.2 m. Space for about ten boats.
  • The house: electricity, electric and wood-burning stove, a fridge, lighting.
  • Drinking water needs to be brought.
  • Sauna: Continuously heated sauna stove and a boiler for heating well water. Swimming possibility, no beach.
  • Firewood available.
  • Outhouse.
  • Päiväranta is not hired for private persons. The pier and yard are available for anyone.
