Events and activities
In Tammela, courses, events and lectures are organised on the preservation of architectural heritage. The Tammela Restoration Centre is a city-owned property that serves as a helpdesk for anyone interested in heritage conservation and restoration. The Tammela Centre presents the conservation objectives of Old Rauma, repair methods, restoration and the values of the World Heritage Site.
Heritage Fair
An annual heritage fair is held in the Tammela yard. The purpose of the Heritage Fair is to introduce professionals and property owners to each other and to ensure that building contractors and operators working in Old Rauma are aware of the World Heritage criteria and conservation objectives. The Tammela Heritage Restoration Fair is open to, among others, partner companies and restoration professionals who have joined the register of craftsmen.

In the Tammela yard, Red paint is made a few times a summer and Red paint can also be bought.
